change over the backing plates, and do not make the same mistake i did and try to change over the knuckle and end up breakin off a bolt. change the bakcing plates and save urself the headache

Yep, what he said. just pop the dust cap off the wheel bearing/hub assembly. remove the big nut, unbolt the 4 bolts holding the backing plate to the knuckle, remove the brake lines from the brass fitting, and remove the ebrake cables from under the console and swap it all over. Easy, the worst part is adjusting the ebrake cable when you're done. Check for the STICKIED brake swap thread by quiksilver it is very helpful. the pics in daaboots are too.

I was assuming all the parts needed were obtained. You'll need:
-dust shield
-backing plate
-ebrake shoes and misc hardware
-rotor
-caliper
-brake pads
-brake line from caliper to brass fitting in wheel well (from donor car)
-ebrake cables (from donor car)
That SHOULD be it. I may have left some things out, but that should about cover it.
Any rear disc swap will work from a 1gn or 2gn that has discs in the rear. Mine are actually from a 1st gen

I'm talking about the 'normal' way. just remove the backing plate from the knuckle. noooooo need to do all that extra work
