So I hate my wheel gap and want to eventually go coilovers for three reasons, I want to be slammed, i want a better ride, and i need them to be adjustable so i do not scrape and destroy my bumper in the winter. So I need your expert suggestions as to what brand to go with. I also would prefer some sort warranty for either rebuilds or other issues. Thanks in advance guys

BC coils are the best bang for the buck. KWs i've heard are rated better than BCs but they also cost more.

The KWs are not the choice if you want slammed. If you want a good track setup then the KW is the way to go.

^^^ search is good, but i will say from the research i have done that i would go with the BC coil overs with camber plates, seems to be a good choice and i will be getting a set in february

Oh I forgot to be slammed you need 36 way adjustiable dampers, with any luck maybe just maybe the adjusters on the BCs will be connected to something and sort of adjust the way you turn the knob
Or you could make your own.
Or put on the spendy pants and buy proper dampers.

Actually I don't need to be slammed, I just want to get close to, if not actually, tucking fender. I found a NIB set of BC 30 way adjustable for $500, but Im not sure if the dude is a scammer so I'm making him take pictures with his name and the date just to be safe.

I have BC coilovers with camber plates in the rear.
I'M pretty happy so far except for the stupid rear camber plate design.
The ride is definitely a little rougher than stock even on the softest setting, but it is to be expected when lowering a car.
Just installing the BCs will drop you about 1inch all around and the coilover has 2 or 3? inches of play to go lower.

The eibach c/o's arent even dampening adjustable... What in the world do you consider a "proper" damper? The BC's are superior to the Eibach's available for the PL chassis.

for the average person, bc and meagan ftw. Kw's are great as far as handling but not good for slamming. I would like to go with custom valved/ length konis with gc coilover sleeves and camber plates. but by then you are in 2x the price of bc's

I'm with them... Why don't you need 36 way dampening adjustments to slam it?? Otherwise it rides harsh as fuck. There is nothing wrong with Megans at all. Especially for a daily. Not everyone wants to auto X their car.

They're the stage 2 version without the pillow ball hats. Other than an aluminium clevis my IPP stage 2's look identical. You'll need to use a set of stock strut mounts.

Are those of higher or less quality than the BC coilovers on modern performance? So these will essentially bolt right up to my stock strut mounts? Thanks

They look like the NEX coils I had, i can't tell exactly but the swaybar tabs look the same as them too. It means u will have to use the stock strut bearings and not have the same camber adjust-ability with the BCs and also if you autocross or drive hard the swaybar tabs may break off. The good side is that they should go for around $600 instead of 1k.

So pretty much the main reason they are so cheap, is because they are the cheaper version in the first place? I looked on the BC site an found that these are the RAM series, but could find no info as to if they work on my car.

I run BC's on my SRT and am quite happy with them. However, I dont Auto-x I just beat the hell out of it on the street.
Don't get the inverted ones, I heard they leak.

The inverted are no longer classified as something that is intended for the street. They can't handle the pot holes and hard bumps on the roads. I just had mine replaced under warranty and had the cartridges switched over to the standard instead of the inverted.

So since the ones that I found are inverted, any idea on what model of BC coilovers would suit street driving better? Would it maybe be cheaper for me just to get the cartridges switched as well, like how much was it? Thanks
