lowering springs

Post by orangeneon05 » Mon Jan 04, 2010 4:14 am

ok im an idiot and didnt look around the site its 4 am and im tired after a day of searching. which kit of lowering springs would be a good buy and if anyone has the kit they suggest can i have a pic with the post so i have a reference.

Click Me

i saw these on ebay and they look good, the site says they are for SRT-4 but will they fit/work with the 05 SRT-D (SXT)? the color is not that important but orange, blue, and green are the colors i would prefer.

Yo, orange, you don't live in PA do you? Also, I'm in the market as well, here are three links on three of the springs I can't decide between:
H&R Limited Edition
http://www.optionsauto.com/prodinfo.asp ... HR-50899LE
Megan Racing
http://www.meganracingperformance.com/0 ... p-408.html
Eibach Sportlines
http://www.modernperformance.com/eibach ... -1677.html

The H&Rs are almost exactly as much as those ebay shits, so get the quality springs instead.

I'd prefer the Tein S-Techs.

A drop of 1.9" all around and a stiff spring. Great stance for the money

uriahrr: i live in the northwest ohio area (toledo)

and the point of this is to find quality for the price and a good stance ill look to see if i have a side on pic to show my stance of now and ill just say you will be like wtf.

Tein's will give you the perfect stance. S-techs, not H-techs though.

It would look good I think quite lowered. Do you just want to get springs and struts? or did you think about the possiblity of coilovers?

well would i need struts with the lowering springs?

or would coiloves be better?

keep in mind i would like to be able to put the 17" SRT-4 rims on it before the lowering too see if that makes the space less noticeable. but i would like a less body roll on turns.

You'll eventually need struts to go with the springs. Struts will you give some better clearance.

But, coilovers, STBs, and good sway bars = secks.

The sportlines on konis will cause there srt struts. So bigger tires and not a huge drop.
