ok so i did a rear srt4 disk brake swap on my 05 sxt. i wanna get a set of them to clean up the look. i was wondering if their is a company that sells them in pairs 2 front for a neon and 2 rears for an srt. i heard the srt kit will fit all four but that the pin does not lock on the front calipers. Is there a way to make them work or am i stuck getting two complete kits. thanks in advanced.

The SRT-4 SS brake line kit will fit non srt front brakes, and srt rear discs.
I'm running a set of SRT SS brake lines. I have stock brakes up front and srt rear discs.

I got mine to work when I did it on my SXT brakes.

well from what igear the pin that basically locks the brake line to the caliper and stops it from wiggling does not go into its slot. Is that true.
I figured a vise and a hammer would fix that.

Im not sure Im gonna try and get a pic up of what i mean. I could have sworn I heard that the srt 4 lines wiggled around on an sxt caliper.

I think he's talking about the front banjo bolts.

That is what I think he is talking about too, which would not cause a problem. The top hole of the banjo bolt does not need to line up with the brake line (i'm only stating this from my personal experience of not knowing - so if you already knew this you are one step ahead of where i was

). They just have to be "snug" so as to not leak. The brake lines themselves should clear everything or may slightly touch the strut casing.

My only issue is that with the front turning left and right wouldn't it be more worrisome that the banjo bolt would loosen?? That's what I'm trying to figure out. I will try and get a pic in the am and try to clarify my issue.
OK next question is where is a good place to buy a nice set. as modern wants 150 for the srt ones and 100 for the neon ones. Thanks

Never had an issue with them coming loose at all. Not even once.
As for pricing, Summit Racing sells them for about $145.

The lines hit the strut, the ones I bought also needed to be re-bent as they rubbed a bunch of stuff in the rear. They were a serious PIA.

Techna-Fit. Back when TKMS was around they told me they were a great line for the price. I found out the hard way....

the kit on modern is russell but they have some hard lines on them mixed with the SS and the hardlines need to be bent a bit to fit right on the caliper. I am referring to the rear srt lines on an srt rear disc setup.

CTA motorsports sells them, around $250 a set I believe. Had a set on my old escort, quality was top notch.

Well, I'm glad my order never went through. I had a set on order, but they were taking forever and making excuses so I just ended up canceling my order.

Seems the Russell ones do the same thing. It wasn't a bit issue, but the way that they're bent (in the rear) they won't bolt up at all. I didn't know this when I bought them though as all of the reviews for them were amazing. *shrugs* Oh well they're on there now.

so once again they make a product that's suppose to bolt up but instead you have to modify it to work and risk kinking the lines. Just awesome!!

Still better than paying $250 for a goodridge set or $340 for one OEM line.
