You put them on your car and you will die! That means death and you will be dead! Just get springs or coilovers. If you put them on it will compress your spring but if it gives, and it will you will seriously break something. Just get a set of Megan Racing springs if you wanna go lower.

haha i am about to be sitting on sportlines tomorrow. i would never buy these. i was just seeing if anyone has seen them. judging by your opinion im gonna say that they're shit.

Yeah its a spring compressor and if you have ever swapped out springs on struts you know how tight those springs are compressed. Well these stay on there and could you imagine the damage the spring would do if these things let go on the highway? Scary shit

How can they sell those things as spring lowering kit on the web? It will be too dangerous to everyone on the freeway if someone uses it. That website should be banned!

lol, haven't seen these exact ones. at advance they had these 2 bolt clamp style that could be put one way and lower your car 1" or turn em around and lift it 1" looked real cheesy and dangerous

these things look fucking dumb and unsafe. i mean it would be cool for show use only just slam it 3"

I've seen something similar but it was meant to be used to compress the spring for removal only and it attatched to the rungs and the bolt pulled them Closer if you understand what I mean?!

IMO if your gonna use this may as well go get some ratchet straps and compress them that way then when they go you'll only feel like u hit a pothole and your stock connecting points aren't being setup to fail

no its not the best way to lower, but they do work. i actually used some similar ones back in the day for a cadillac. i used them for about 2 years and made numerous trips from N.C. to chicago and never had a problem.

nope sir not an expert, but metal fatigue is no joke and just because you drove with them on doesn't mean it's safe. Also remember a Cadillac weighs as much as a small fishing vessel and is not used to corner where a neon is lite and people use them for spirited driving so that's another major issue.

i deffinetly see where your comming from Random, and perhaps i should of explained it better.

i made the reference to my caddy because there were no lowering springs for it... especially 15 years ago. my point was that they were cheap, but they did work (for that car and that driving). but back then, cutting springs was also the norm...

Heating the springs was my favorite, the metal fatigue actually cause the car to drop.

I'm glad things have evolved much more then what they used to do. Those things are archaic

They remind me of some medieval torture device...
