just install them, i highly doubt that tien springs will destroy your struts a very short time, they are not as aggressive as other springs like the eibach sportlines. just make sure you don't cut your bumpstops, otherwise go for it
Ziptie's come in handy when a prostitute gets mouthy or reluctant

I like people who BUY a 10 sec car and then brag about it. Thats like hiring someone to bang your wife and then bragging about the kid

Everyone knows that for breasts to be "perfect" they need to be within reach.
I agree on the doing it all at once idea, FTW.
As far as the alignment thing goes... I've found over the years that a lot of people on here push to align these cars after doing a spring swap. The real truth is, camber is really all that is affected. Now while this is important, it is NON ADJUSTABLE on these cars. At all. So all you're left with that actually CAN be adjusted is toe. Toe might be affected a hair, but almost certainly not enough to require correction in most cases. It's all those potholes you hit, that beat the suspension to a pulp, that throw toe off. Just wanted to throw that out there.

when you change ride height and camber, the toe changes. thats why the toe needs to be adjusted. camber will have almost no affect on tire wear if kept below 3 degrees.

[/quote]Yup it definately needs to go lower. If its not scrapeing constantly why you are driving then its not low enough bro.
The toe change is minimal, especially for milder drops. I'd bet that it isn't even thrown out of acceptable values in most cases, especially in cars that are already well taken care of. I'm not saying it isn't a good idea to have it aligned, but it's not as critical as some people say it is. I went from the Prokit to the TEINs, and didn't align the car for close to 2 years. After pummeling the car on CA roads, eventually my left front toe got knocked out of whack, and I could tell the difference the second I hit that epic pothole. Almost zero related tire wear.hybrid-Srt2001 wrote:when you change ride height and camber, the toe changes. thats why the toe needs to be adjusted. camber will have almost no affect on tire wear if kept below 3 degrees.
And camber wear is usually minimal on NORMAL tires, but on softer compounds I've seen it cause some serious inner-edge balding lol.
