BC's Or Megans???

Post by theTeejmiester » Sun Apr 04, 2010 1:16 am

hey well the time has come to buy my coilovers and now i am left wondering what one i want more, BC regular or the Megans. i am leaning towards the BC's but i also hear some really good things about the Megans,so what is your thoughts on my hang up here??? and where to get them for the cheapest shipped?? modern?? Ebay?? SRTforums?? and i don't race or anything so its mostly to go low as possible and still have a "ok" ride

For what you're looking for, Megans are more than enough. I believe they are just like 1st version BCs, anyway. Someone will verify that for me. Either way, those are likely cheaper and will give you the same adjustability. Hell, I've got USED Ksports and the ride quality is perfect, and I could easily go lower and be just as comfortable.

I have the 1G BCs. Their exactly like the megans, color and all. Rather than the BCs, I would get the Megans and pick up some rear camber plates.

I love it man. No matter what, you plug the legit stuff, at bare minimum. I wish I had the patience and will power you do. (BTW, that's serious, not sarcastic)

Teej, like Chad said grab some Megans and camber plates. Most of these coils share the same dampening design, so your ride can get dialed in damn well on any of them.

All you want is to be low, with some handling aspects too. Get the megan's, they are re-badged BC's.

825 shipped sounds good to me, i have looked and the best i have found is 905 shipped

Derick, i would love to have a custom set up, like some custom shortened koni yellows, ground control sleeves and the like but i just don't have the need for those right now. i think the megans should do for me. they will deff be better than the sportlines and KYB's that i am running now. at least thats my reasoning :D

Def better than the current setup, no arguing there. I've actually heard pretty good things about the Megans overall. Might not be the best on the market, but they're certainly get the job done, and more probably.

everyone said pick up camber plates... point is, you don't need to as they already come with rear camber plates!

Sorry. I was following their bandwagon statements. Even rear camber plates aren't absolutely necessary. I've got plenty of rear camber without any
