how low can you go with struts

cruious as to how low anyone has gone using stock style struts not full on coil overs but using ebay sleeve overs etc. not even using the stock struts but using struts from a different vehicle. my setup is ebay sleeve overs yeah i know theyre junk. ford probe struts on the front. 1g struts on the rear. travel in the front is as good as stock at a much lower height. rear is better than stock with a little more travel.im runnin 1955016 tires n can tuck fronts n rears n still have travel left. granted its undriveable. yeah the alignment is able to be in spec after this swappin of parts. yeah they bolt on with very minimal modifications.

wow that was hard to read. this is my car; yes it is a 1gn but same concept right?
you want to use 1gn front struts in the rear and 1gn front struts in the front. you will need to make a set of extended top hats for the front. pick a good spring rate to keep your car from bottoming out too much. and good luck getting it to where you want. people said it couldn't be done but i did it anyway. just took some time and thought.

wow your 1g is low. mine is still using stock 2g uppers all around with ford probe struts which bolt on n dont require mods to the spindle like a 1g would, plus they are the same height as a 1g but more beefieness. rear i have stock 1g struts. i felt the 1g fronts on the rear would be to much as i had done that to my 1g before. that was the best mod ever to its suspension.i was really just lookin to see if anyone else tried to make a 2g low. my front will lay core suppport if i could keep the tires from hittin the frame rails lol.i need to get pics up i guess.

Yes pics!
My car is lowered about 2" all around, maybe a tad more in the rear with TEIN S tech, but I have seen some local SRT's lower with struts.

i respect the work but it looks like ass with the rear tucked soo hard and the front not. 2gn's just don't look good when super slammed because of the uneven wheel wells. i <3 the way my 1gn sits even when slammed.

well i cant run any real lower perch that would use a stock spring as tires would hit. so i used ebay coilovers, yeah i know junk stuff. but still stock style macferson sturt setup not a aftermarket high dollar coil overs.
