Driver drum hot, passenger cool?

So I was driving around town tonight and it's about 50 degrees.
I already know my front pads need to be changed based upon the amount of dust they are emitting.
Well I got home and smelled a rather hot, burning smell. I smelled all four of my tires and the driver's side rear was the cause of the smell.
The drum was also pretty darn hot to the touch, when I went around to the passenger side it was very cold to the touch. What could be causing the drivers side to be so hot and smell?

It's a 2004 SXT by the way

The brakes could be sticking. The wheel bearing could be wearing out. Just a couple options.

If either of these are the case what would be something to look for if I jacked up the car and took that tire off?

well if wheel bearing spin the hub and ull hear a whining noise, and if the brakes are stuck then u try to spin the hub and it wont move without some kind of force
