Ok well this is my plan, Tokico blues, sportlines, stock SRT4 wheels and 205 50 tires. Basically what I want to know is these 2 things, A is the tire too wide for the wheels and B will I rub the strut from being too tall. Ive spent the last hour trying to find a definite answer and came up with yes and no LOL I also hear yes with 5MM spacer? Id rather not have to grind the strut or hit with a hammer so if a 5mm is all I need then.. Thanks in advance guys

I ran 205/50/17s on SRT wheels AND aftermarket 17s (same tires...Sumitomo HTR-Z 2) and cleared all around. Tokico Blues and Eibach Pro-kit. You wont really rub because the wheels will sit in the fenders and I believe the springs are progressive enough to keep you from bottoming out and shit.

^Adam says it's so, so it's so.

For some reason I feel like y0 man had this setup... then again he may have always run 40 series rubber bands.

He had this setup, but he indeed always ran rubber bands.

Always been on the 40s

One thing to note about the 50s on the SXT is that your speedometer will read incorrectly if you run larger than a 40 profile. In your case it will read slower then you are actually going.

Since I did the SRT swap mine no longer reads correctly on the 40 profile, reading faster then i'm actually going because the SRTs were designed for the 50 profile on the 17s.

^I've tried to tell so many people that, but all I keep hearing is "No, those are fucking 1st gen tires" "Those aren't the right size" "You're a moron".

Read and learn... http://www.rimsntires.com/rt_specs.jsp
185/60R15 = 205/40R17

A good compromise would be a 45 series.
