SRT4 Rear suspension swap
Just purchased a 2002 se and was planning on doing SRT4 rear brake swap. my shock starting leaking a few days after the purchase so I was wondering if it is possible to swap SRT4 rear shocks, springs and swaybar in. If anyone has done this about how long did it take, where any special tools involved and did everything just bolt up?

holy crap dude... try searching. hell, you don't even have to. this is sticked in the suspension section I believe. There is a how-to on it. DO NOT attempt to remove the hub and replace it. You will only end up breaking the long bolt that holds it to the control arms. just swap everything else over. It's pretty straightforward.

took less then a minute to find.
Now, allow me to welcome you to 2GN, and point out why you may have sensed frustration since your questions are some of the most commonly asked questions on this forum. There is a search feature on this forum that is quite useful. In light of that we do love to help people here, especially those that show a concerted effort. What tends to get us frustrated is those that don't bother searching and expect everyone else to do the work for them.
I posted the link for you, read it over. If you have more questions try searching first and then ask if you need clarification either in the thread topic that you are confused (probably the best thing) or in this thread.

As far as the job being difficult, that all depends on YOUR skills. Most of us swap suspension and pieces out in a couple hours flat, if not less. Ask Hybrid about his motor swapping skills haha. Anyhow, if you're far from mechanically inclined, your best bet is to get everything replaced with OEM, do some mad research, save for parts, and do stuff later when you're ready / know how.

He's right. If your mechanical skills are as good as your ability to search.... you're screwed. Otherwise, it's a pretty straightforward task. The worst parts of the brake swap make be getting your drums off if they are seized on, and adjusting the e-brake when you are done. Swapping the strut/spring/swaybar over is simple. You're going to need to tun a thread chase in the holes in the frame for the swaybar mounts though because they are going to be full of crusty rust. Unless you live in CA.
