lowering

im looking to lower my 2001 neon. am i gonna need camber adjusters if im using a cheap set of adj. coil springs? and also how much power can the auto tranny hold?

The 3 speed ATX can handle a bit more than the 4 speed.
Especially with the right $$$$ parts.
The 31th (3 speed) held up well to the Turbo I cars of the '80's/'90's in stock form. While the hp wasn't much better than an N/A 2.0, I'm sure the torque was. That and those cars were a bit heavier.

lol now how i know if my car is a 3 speed or a 4 speed. i cant find that topic.

It is a 2001. 4 speeds weren't used until 2002 for domestic cars.
That and you can just count the shifts starting from a stop to 45 mph or less at light throttle. Just don't confuse TC lock up for another shift.

k thanks so much. and i cant find the topic about if i reall need camber bolts for the coil overs. im only lowering the frnt .5-1 inch and leveling the back with the front so a couple of inches

you won't need them till you get camber over 1.5-2 degrees. toe is the most important adjustment...

so i will still have to adjust the toe? and i see people using the 1gn springs to lower now is that for looks or is there some handling advantages to this. im just wondering if i can go that route and then save up for some bc's or similar.
