got a question.... I have a set of first gen BC coilovers and no longer have a first gen. Are the only differences between the 1st and 2nd gens, the lower mount, where it connects to the hub, OR are the top plates different too?

i believe the top hats are interchangeable but im not 100% sure the only thing ive hear on this swap is that you need the 1gn hubs and slap the coilovers on

The struts are more narrow on 1st gens where the knuckle bolts to the strut. If you switch to 1st gen kuckles and install 2nd gen hubs it will work.
I don't know for sure if 2nd gen strut mounts will work on the 1st gen struts. I'll leave that part to someone who knows.
