Hey guys, I have an interesting problem. I recently did the rear brake swap from what i believe was an rt car (bought the parts used) now over the last few day I've noticed a thudding/whirring noise from the left rear. this is only when I go over 100 kph, or when I make a left hand turn. I thought it was a wheel bearing, but when I took it apart to change it today I noticed the wheel bearing was perfectly fine and that the rotor touched the backing plate when it was turning. The rotors and pads are brand new parts so I'm at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Was it constantly in contact with it? The backing plates are really thin. You can just bend it out of the way.

Yeah I guess dust shield is more appropriate, that is what is making contact. I tried to "clearance" it witha hammer to noavail. It only touches where the dust shiels has a lip almost the whole way around.

That's strange.... ANY neon rear rotor should fit fine with no issue as they are all the same. Next step is to try with a bigger hammer
