Strut prices

Has anyone noticed the recent price hike on Tokico's?? Due to the tsunami in Japan maybe??
6 months ago they were like 279 on modern's site and around that price on eBay too, now they're 399 on moderns site and over 300 on eBay too!

yep i was just browsing for them as well... guess ill wait for used, or price drop..
or just lower on stocks and get spares at the junkyard!

more or less. i was gonna go with blues but the company told me they were back ordered after waiting 3 weeks so. yeah

Ride quality yes. They are well able to handle a good drop, such as sport lines, for several tens of thousands of miles. Had nearly 75k on mine before they but the dust. Then I went to coils.

Keep on searching the net - you can find some great deals on Toki struts - I just ordered mine today.
Both brand new fronts (HB3210) $119.13 shipped to my door.
Brand new HB2233 (Right, Rear): $74.10 shipped to my door.
Brand new HB2234 (Left, Rear): $75.23 shipped to my door.
Grand total of 4 brand new Toki Blues: $268.46

I found HB2233/2234 (rears) on Amazon.com for $74.10 & $75.23 - both with Free S/H. The two fronts (HB3210) I ordered from Parts Train for $58.03 + $12.27 S/H for them both.

Well Nick, that's why I am sharing it with y'all - so anyone else shopping for Toki struts can get the great same deals.
If you already had them, hell for this cheap, I'd buy them now while you can, and either consider reselling them to make a small profit or installing the new ones & selling your used ones to pay for half of the new ones haha

Yea I read that in one of your threads - now that was a steal! but also from a private user...so you lucked out. There's one on CL right now who wants $225 for just the rear Toki blues w/o springs/hardware OR $300 for all 4 Toki Blues w/ springs/hardware but the front two are blown. Some people...I swear...lol He'll be lucky to get offered $150
