when you buy a set of coilovers, does it come with EVERYTHING you need to install?
like upper mounts, dust boots, blah blah. \
do you need camber kits for them?
i'm pricing new struts, and some lowering springs, and between the struts, and a full set of new mounts, and bumpstop kits etc.. its gettin pricey, im about to say fuckit and get new/used coils...

If you buy Megan racing coilovers then no need for camber bolts. the top hats on those are adjustable with camber plates on em so u can go as far as -2 if u need too as i did when i had my Neon. no need of anything else when u buy them. just buy wait for them and install when they arrive. you reuse the same knuckle bolts. BC racing coilovers dont have rear adjustable camber plates but the Megans do. And yes Megans are made by BC so technically they are same but just different design. Also Megans have adjustable damp knob on top as where BC has them on the bottom of the strut.

That's on the inverted coil, Manny. The regular BC's have it on top.
Also, The BC's have a notch in the top clevis bolt hole in the rear coils so rear camber plates, while nice, aren't needed unless you want more than -2.5* of camber.

Coilover alignment is just like a regular alignment, unless you're super low and they can't get you on the rack.
Also, keep in mind that the BC's also are slightly better quality than their Megan counterparts. From anodized body instead of painted, larger shaft size, better lock-rings, hand welded, better spring rate, etc. But then the old saying of 'you get what you paid for' comes into play.

Megan, BC, K-Sport have everything you need. Mopar/KWs reuse stock upper strut mounts.

I have Megans and they're just fine. BCs aren't that much better.

I have had the KW variant 2 on my car for 6 years and have had no issues. They were pricey but well worth it. I have heard the Megans are a good product, so are K-sport.

Megans have worked for me, and I abuse the shit out of them probably more than most people on here.
