so i just check all my tires at my local gas station, and i noticed my front right tire had only 20psi will the other three had around 37-40 PSI. so i was wondering what could make that one tires pressure to drop so much? is it because i have to enter my driveway at such an angle, and all the cars weight in the front is all on that tire? BTW i just changed the front left tire, and did a complete alignment about 1-2months ago.

You could have a slow leak in one tire. Lots of times when you have alloy wheels, the tires can leak air pressure. I have one that leak very slowly. I check all my tires once a week and usually only have to put air in the leaking one about one every month or two. Maybe you can get the tire re-mounted. Sometimes the seal leaks. :)

i have a similar prob too, but im all stock. i sometimes lose 5lbs more in one tire (not always the same one), and i check and fill every month at least. no biggie, but if it happens too fast or always in the same tire, id check for leaks.

i know this is obvious but i didnt see it mentioned anywhere. check for nails or screws. take the tire off the car and carefully inspect it. you can spray soapy water all over the tire and watch for bubbling. what kind of tires/wheels are we talking about?

orangeblast: you issue might be the shitty goodyear eagle ls's. one of mine started leaking one day. checked it over for leaks and couldnt find any. fixaflat stopped the leak but i got new tires shortly after

my tires are Toyo Proxes FZ-4 205/40ZR-17....im going to try this tomorrow. so i should take the tire/rim off and pour soapy water on it and check for bubbles?

taking the tire off will allow better visability of the entire tire when checking for leaks. i have found leaks after taking the tire off that i couldnt find while it was on.
