Lowering setup for DD

Post by mopar04 » Mon Mar 05, 2012 10:04 pm

Now that Daisy is paid off, and (I need to replace the springs anyways) I have been searching for a good setup for my DD. I want to lower either about 1.5 F and 2.0 R b or 1.0 F and 1.5 R. I have been searching and cam across some setups but want to get yalls opinions and feedback about what the best ride quality (Struts and Springs Setup) with a budget is.

K thanks all

Thought about coilovers but I am not wanting to spend that much money into this vehicle. I just want something with a sleeker look and still drives decent as well.

All the springs I've seen lower the front and rear about the same, so it might be hard to get that kind of drop. The kyb gr2 struts are about $240 new, so you could probably stay under $400 with the right springs. The h&r LE and megan are the cheapest good quality springs from what I've seen.

You could always wait for a used setup in the for sale section, but they usually get snatched up pretty quick.

I completely forgot about the teins, they're $185 shipped on ebay for both S and H models.

Eibach Pro for the springs? Sportline is probably a little bit too low according to your spec. They are pretty cheap actually.

Go to autozone get a couple cutting wheels for the die grinder and cut those springs down to height
