Want to raise my car, stock or mopar s1

I am sick of the Tein lowering springs that came on my car when I bought it. Bumps are terrible! My struts probably cry each time as I doubt the previous owner replaced the stock ones with anything better. I am looking at either buying stock springs or the mopar s1 springs that drop it only 1".
How much smoother will the ride be with stock springs vs the mopar ones?
How much better for the struts will the stock springs be vs the mopar ones?
Any other springs people would recommend that will make my ride smoother but still stay under the stock ride height?

Just pick up some Tokico Blue struts and new mounts!

no matter what springs you go with, it's probably bets to replace your struts. they're probably blown from the springs anyways

A set of SRT struts goes for like $750 from the dealer right? At that price I want to be SURE the old ones are bad before replacing.

Why would you order stock struts from the dealer? If you want stock struts go to a parts store or Rockauto. If you want to keep your lowering springs and just improve the feel get some Tokico Blue Struts!

I prefer to use only OEM parts. If I can get the oem SRT struts someplace cheaper please let me know. I want to raise the car back to either mopar s1 or stock springs.
If my struts are actually bad then with the price of them + springs I may be better to look into performance parts from modern or something.

I'm not knocking oem parts but you are way overpaying for stock struts if you go get them from a dealer. Your better off getting Monroes from a part store! But it's your car and your money!

Which Monroes are you referring to? I have heard by many that the Monroe Sens-A-Trac are NOT meant for an SRT. I have no problem with better parts tho assuming the are meant for an SRT

Correct. I couldn't find Monroes for an SRT. They're only meant for base Neons.
Your only options are dealer or Tokico. I think.

He didn't mention he was looking for struts for an SRT. He just said he priced SRT struts a couple posts down. Next time provide more info!

Correct. If you look at the factory struts (non ACR) you will see "Tokico" stamped in them.

Thats what I thought. So then what's the cost of just replacing the strut vs the entire assembly? (assuming my struts are bad). The car only has 50K

Posting your trim level in your sig would help clarify that you have an SRT. I thought you were looking to restore ride height on an SE/SXT also, until i read further on, and figured you had an SRT. I was going to suggest used SRT springs, until I came to that realization.

I guess it really depends on if the struts are blown, that's where most of the cost is. New oem struts aren't really worth it for the srt, nearly coilover prices.

Pair that with some S1 springs, and you should be set for less than $800.
