1gn springs... yes again lol

Have some questions about how to achive better handling and stopping power using different springs, upgrading to coilovers, questions on swaybars, bushings, different rotors, pads, ect... Having any steering problems or questions about steering racks, tie rods, tie rod ends, ect... ask these questions here.

so ive looked around and havent gotten a clear answer so just wanna double check.

can you run 1st gen springs without blowing your struts? just the base mcphearsons

how much will it drop and how will ride quality be?

I don't think you'll blow your struts. I know several people have run 1st gen R/T springs, but i'm not sure about base model springs.

you would still be changing the strut travel, so I can't see why this wouldn't blow them over time. If lowering springs do, then 1st gen rt springs with lower spring rates should do worse.

Personally, I don't like the look of the 1gn springs, or many of the lowering springs. Doesn't lower it nicely, dumps the back and keeps the front too high

1gn springs will lower the car alright, but yeah usually the rear ends up looking lower than the front because of how the wheel arches are. The pinch weld will be even though front to back.

lol just installed the rt springs so cant go back now. i like em so far. feel stock. also i didnt wanna pay for performance springs just to blow my struts. im saving for coils anyway
