i know this popped up b4...but for the price i don't think i can pass it up....i don't want a huge drop so i think this fits for waht i'm looking for....

how well do you think these will ride and how long will they last? and also do you think they will have a mount for a rear sway bar?

i had goldline lowering springs on stock struts on my 1st gen and completely hated it...i don't wanna relive that....as to why i haven't even lowed my 2gn....

Tokico has as good a rep as any other company save Koni around here. Konis being highly prized of course. I don't see why they coudln't come up with a decent spring. If they are sellin' to the tuner crowd, they will have sway bar tabs. Go for it. I'll sell you my stock sways on the cheap in a few weeks/months... :D

Hmmm I might consider doing this..... but its eBay... Ebay scares me at times. $420 shipped, for 1.4 all around. hmmmm That would look nice. You could run 1.4 on stock struts though. Just get eibach pro kit for $200 and your set.

But damn, tokico hp struts are nice! That setup will last a long time and look great. Now I am considering this. I have $145 in my PayPal account so it will be even cheaper! AGHHHH decisions suck!
Specially when you are poor.
Forgive my rambling

I asked the seller if they had some kind of warranty... I am probably gonna get this setup. Those are the same struts on Howell, correct? The Tokico Hp blues. Nice struts

Yeah mine have them. Only one problem with them. You either need camber bolts or to have the holes slotted for an allignment. I just had them slotted. Not a big deal at all. Now I got mine when they first came out, so they might have fixed that problem.
By no means let that discourage you from them b/c I love them with my eibach pro(1.5" drop).

Hey in my 97 I am going to put some suspension on pretty soon (koni & H&R race springs).....I was wondering because I am going to go the route of getting new mounts and bearings and bumps. ? is....If I get the competition bumps should I still cut them down for the spring setup or just leave them because they are stock for koni sports anyways?

Cut em' or you'll be ridin' on them constantly and your Koni's will neevr do any of the work you are hoping they will do.

In half or 1/3 or what.......What if instead I got some poly bumps from like energy suspension....or would the poly's be way to harsh.
The poly's are like half the size of stock

You could hit the Eibach website and they have pdf. files with instructions for installing their products. Use their guidelines for the cutting. Lemme' check real quick cuz i want to slot some struts this weekend and i have their camber kits................I'll get right back.................ok I'm back.pdf's are gone. called customer support and they said around .75 from the BOTTOM of the stop. I would go lmore like .65........I did about 1/2" bump stop but I got Sportlines = stiffer. Have fun dude.

The H&R race springs are supposed to be hella stiff and with the Koni's on low to medium they should be ok at half then......Thanks for the help

Sure dude. My dad had H&R's on his 300M Special with Koni's. They were pretty damn stiff, your right. So .75 might be your best bet. (I've trimmed em' through the spring when I made em' too big and was too lazy to take the whole car apart)

So, I just clicked on and it says he's got 10 of these. Are these direct bolt on replacements for stock suspension.

I am currently running stock struts with '97 ACR springs which have about 140k on them now. One strut is blown...boy do I need these!

Is there any feedback on these Tokico's yet?
