Without fabrication ??
No.

I'm not sure it would work, without major fabrication.

I do have both a 1st gen K-frame and a 2nd Gen K-frame, off the car.
I should try taking a picture of both of them, side-by-side, to show the differences.

The problem is, that the 1st gen K-Frame is in storage, and I'd have to go retrieve it... before I could take a 'side-by-side' pic.

Any reason you'd want to use the 1st gen over the 2nd gen? i assume you have a 1st gen one and you need to replace the one on the 2nd gen

Even if you got it to bolt up, you might need to use the 1st gen LCA's too. It depends on where the axis of the front wheel centers ends up being.

Mixing and matching the LCA's with the the crossmemeber will also require a custom sway bar/or mounting points, because the mounting points will no longer match up.

The price of new replacements from Mopar has dropped pretty dramatically. It might be worth your while to just get a new one.

Or NGC swap the 1gn, if it is in decent shape.

A few items I can think of.... 'off the top of my head', would be:

The MTX transmission (but not the bellhousing)
the SOHC cylinder head.
Front seats (I'm not sure about the rear)
Alternator
Timing Belt, Water pump
Coilpack

There are probably some other items that I am overlooking, but that's my jist of it.

The engine block from the '98, won't work in the 2003, and vice-versa.... Due to the changes in the crank sensor location and triggering, on the 'NGC' late-model 2nd gen Neons.

Honestly, if you're going the 1st gen route, might as well replace the cradle with the 1st gen cradle, and 2.4 swap it. I got to drive an SRT swapped coupe the other day, and it was like a damn go cart..i loved it

I just need to replace the cradle. Not after a swap. Maybe sway bars and brakes but no motor
