Brake fluid leak from Master cylinder.

I have a brake fluid leak from the master cylinder area on my 2003 sxt. It looks like its coming from where the lines go into the master cylinder. It looks like the brake lines screw into a larger fitting which is then threadded into the Master, which is where I suspect the leak to be coming from. My other 2003 sxt which is an abs car does not have the middleman fitting. Has anyone run into this before? My brake pedal feels great, never drops, I just have to fill the resivoir every month or so.

that would be the proportioning valves

thats the one. Can I pull it off and put a new o ring in place or do I need to buy the whole valve?

If you can get a proper o ring, you could probably do that.

Chrysler doesn't sell it separately.

Some, maybe all new master cylinders from parts stores come with proportioning valves installed. It may be better/cheaper overall to just get a whole new master cylinder.
