I caught wind of something and would like to confirm it if anyone else knows.

I was told by someone that the rear hubs/knuckles were interchangeable with the front. (I've been having problems aquiring front hubs - probably cause most of the wrecked vehicles have front end damage) Does anyone know if it matters if you get any hub (front/rear) for the SRT brake swap?

If I'm understanding your question, Rears are completely different from the front so no, front to rear they're not interchangeable.

Not completely, the lower attachment for the tension strut is slightly different where on the SRT it's moved inward towards the inside of the car to allow for more clearance of the tension strut. It's not a whole lot but when you sit both next to each and look them over it's noticeable.
Does this keep the rear discs brakes from attaching correctly?

Nope, it's just a slight change in design between the regular neon and SRT-4. It doesn't affect how ti bolts up though and only starts to come into play when you want to run a wider tire or higher offset such as something that is 8" wide and 40-45mm offset. Doesn't change the braking through.

so if i want to run wider tires with the 45mm offset i'm gonna need the rear spindles as well.

I'm going to do a SRT-4 rear disc swap soon. Here is a picture of what my SRT-4 knuckle looks like. Notice the offset for the strut rod to enable more tire clearance. BTW the complete SRT-4 rear disc brake assembly (hub, pads, thick rotor, caliper, backing plate, all e-brake components weigh 35 pounds each. I'm not sure what the complete drum brake assembly weighs, I'll know after the conversion.
