Hey guys...I have money to buy coilovers right now...im just debating on which brand to buy. But someone brought it to my attention that I might be better of buying a good set of lowering springs and a good set of struts. Anyone have any opinions on this matter? If so what brand springs and struts?

I see your car is already lowered with Dropzone springs.. So the next step would be coilovers. I would go with Tein coilovers. I have only heard good things about those. Or maybe the Mopar coilovers on modernperformance.com.

I say go with KW coils if you get can get a hold of some of them. The mopars will fit but then you'll have to deal with the stop ring and if that stop ring is removed then the warranty goes out the door. KW/Mopar are also made out of stainless steel so there isn't a chance for any sort of corrosion. A lot of people like IPP but they say the ride isn't very good and their spring perches seized. The only problem I've had with my KWs are that the lock nut froze up from the dirt and I had to drill the nut out to remove the perch and install new ones, better perches KW sent me free of charge b/c of the problem. Others really like Tein and I haven't really heard any problems with them.

If you buy Tien, make sure its real and not a scam. there is a thread in offtopic about it.

I have IPP2 coilovers...not installed yet, but they look like they are made very well. and they are fully height and damper adjustable. All Ive read bad about them really is that some people complian about noise from the front of the car of the springs rubbing together at the very top. Some lithuium grease will fix it though.

I also have Ip2's and they ride very well. I have the non-dampening adjustable ones. I bought them for 650.00 brand new. If I had the money I would probably buy the KW's but for the price the Ip2's are just fine for me. There are a few other option that you can take such as Mopar which is KW with the mopar logo and a heavier price......Anyways....which ever way you swing you will be happy with coilovers

KW or Mopar (same thing). As Diablo0 stated above. The newest KW's are friggin' bulletproof and great iin harsh climates with REAL weather. ie: snow, salted roads, crappy well water, etc.

TEIN or KW (mopar=kw). if you can afford coilovers, do it, but be sure to get fully adjustable ones (not just height), cuz the ride will be tunable to suit your needs, and you will have a shot at either full race, full soft, or anywhere in between. I plan on doing TEIN super streets when i get around to it, prob not for a year or more tho. if youre on a budget, go for some springs and a new set of struts (im doing eibach prokit w/ tokico blues in the next 2-3 months), and save 4-500 bucks but no adjustability (unless you go for KONIs or something of course).
