BUMP STEER AND CREEPY TIPPY TOE

Post by grambo » Fri May 05, 2006 6:11 pm

Couple things.....

The Eibach "crash-bolt" style camber adjusters....anybody know where some pics of the "slots" are that you cut into the struts? I cannot find mine, though I've done it before.

I've got the Hotchkis sways, Pro kits, KYB oem's. For the first week the sways were on the car it was a four-wheeled razor blade. Suddenly I am getting gnarly bump-steer and the car "tip-toes" around the lane at 100+. The bump steer and tippy toe thing are obviously more pronounced at high speeds.

The car will sit 1/2" lower in a few weeks when I put the Sportlines back on. I will also be adding teh ACR struts again and the ACR alignment.

I am concerned about the bump steer getting worse insetad of better. Any of you coilover guys/gals that have the Hotchkis Sways have this problem?

not that this would definately fix it, but have you upgraded to the mopar performance rear tension thingies? for $40 they apparently fix the rear wheel hop, and might tighten up the rear a little more

dawm = I've got the Energy Master Kit which replaced the factory caca.

Caustic = check the H&R springs home page and look at "Technical" and read all about it.......you point the tires one way and the car goes another.....not good
