Anybody have any problems bottoming out their struts or blowing things by carring stuff in a lowered car?? Sometimes all the seats in my car are full, and I'm worried that if I lower it on SRT-4 springs, i might have a bit of a problem when I start to carry people. Most of the time I only have 1 passenger, its not like 5 people 9 days of the week. Anyone have any info for me?

SRT springs pretty much isn't much of a drop. .25 front .75 rear. I know the springs are very stiff so you shouldn't have ANY trouble what so ever with bottoming out your car on such a little drop the SRT springs give.

aside from the minimal drop, these increase spring rate.... so dont worry about bottoming out or even blowing your struts
heres the spring rates:
SRT4
F: 175lb/in
R: 125lb/in
ACR/RT
F: 150lb/in
R: 120lb/in
SE/ES/SXT/LE/LX
F: 140lb/in
R: 11lb/in

does anyone know the eibach pro kit rates off hand, i dont feel like searching the net for em. i dont usually have any passengers but this is a good question for people with super low suspension, people weigh a lot!

I called Eibach Tech Support fro spring rates. They haven't gotten back to me yet.
I've carried 5 people plus some luggage in my car with no problems. At that time I had teh mushy KYB's and the Pro Kits on teh car too. (Obviously on a nasty pothole or a bigass bump you'd better expect a BIG bang..haaha) This was why I welded the seems on my strut towers too..my VW's used to crack in the olden days.....

I would never let 4 people in my car....I call my neon my 4 door coupe...because I refuse to let anyone ride in the backseat. Its made my friends mad before, but people have no respect for other people's stuff...all i can think about is someone stepping on my molded sides and cracking them, or getting mudd on my nice cushy floor mats LOL
I HATE having a dirty car

oh yeah, wait till you have kids...then check the seats! My back seat looks like a sandbox after my son sits there, and I have to check his clothes for food residue before he gets in! My girls are better, but still no food!

Thanks for answering my question, I still need to decide what I want to do
With the off-topic: My car seems to be a rolling recycling bin, I always grab a drink, and roll out, and it ends up on my floor with directions, and cd cases and stuff. Its not anything nasty, its just alot of junk. Essencially...I donno what suspention I want.

I drove around with a 2.4 longblock in my trunk for 3 days (roughly 300lbs) and I have a 1.8" drop on GoldLines. Didn't bottom out once.

This one time... I had 8 people in the peon. Drunk people. Talk about making a mess? The windows were so dirty afterwards

(it was raining out and they were all wet!!) But anyways, at the time, w/o anyone in it: I was SLAMMED in the rear, had about .75" between tire/fender in the front......... well.... 8 people is like having no suspension at all. I could feel the tires hitting the inside of the fenders in the rear... so yea dont carry a big load lol
