Mopar E-Store - Wow!
Mopar E-Store - Wow!
Okay,
So Friday, as in LAST FRIDAY 1/29/2010 in the late afternoon I placed an order to Mopar/Chrysler for 2 timing belt pieces. I got them today. That is outstanding service. I would recommend the official e-store to everyone.
This kind of turn-around officially from chrysler direct to the consumer is very impressive, especially since no dealer was involved.
Just giving some positive feedback on both the parts and about mother mopar

Can you provide a link to this site? As far as I know, Chrysler does not sell directly to the public. All transactions are carried out by dealers. I know that if you do an inquiry through Chrysler for parts or accesories, it will bounce you to one of the top performing dealer to process the order.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...
Sure thing:Danteneon wrote: Can you provide a link to this site? As far as I know, Chrysler does not sell directly to the public. All transactions are carried out by dealers. Interesting. I did some digging on this. It looks like this website went live in January, and it does appear that it does cut out dealer involvment altogether.
Not sure what impact it will have on the dealership level, but if you got great service from it then the consumer will be the one to reap the benifits.
Thanks for the info

No problem. Looking at the box for the Idler Pully ... Apparantly has a sticker from a town nearby. Maybe they are having dealers ship directly from inventory? I got 2 Separate boxes. Either way I am very impressed and will be buying all my OEM Parts from that website.Danteneon wrote:Interesting. I did some digging on this. I placed a order Wednesday morning and UPS delivered the parts Friday... That is outstanding service.... Worth every minute..
Just to note: I use Firefox browser and I couldn't see all the parts on the detailed list.. So I tried it using Google Chrome and it worked great, Internet Explorer will probably work good too.

the E-store is the latest thing Chrysler is using to help purge old inventory from dealerships. We have the dealer 2 dealer connection to help fill dealer orders but now we have dealer 2 customer connections, not only does it help customers get there parts fast, it also helps dealers with old inventory to clean things up

So I went onto the website because I need new exhaust/intake rocker arm assemblys (lifters tapping), new timing belt, water pump and oil pump.. total cost is around 1100.00 for parts. Does this sound right for what I need to do? figured if replacing timing belt i should also do pumps while in there.. any help would be appreciated. But a great website.. none the less.
Im only human..
Just tossing in here I did 2 More Parts orders from them and got them within a day or so. Awesome service
