The asking price vs. condition of some of these SRTs on eBay make me scratch my head.

^ Here is the description for that SRT-4

"This 2005 Dodge Srt-4 ACR edition is immaculate inside and out, excellent drivability have been driving for the passed year and a half extremely fun. New engine and head all OEM purchased parts, has about 15k miles since installed runs and drives amazing and the only problem Ive had was oil pressure sensor, which has been replaced with OEM. Many new parts, hard to put it all into words but this is my baby still, full audio system, custom interior all black, new tires, mpx exhaust with 3" down pipe, cat-less and sounds like a monster, I have all paper work and receipts including photos of everything. Has agp upgrades in trans and head studs, comes with tuner and all paperwork. Royal purple oil has been used since engines break in period, all new struts, adjustable up front, also lowered 2" with lowering links in rear. I'm not pressed to sell, I just want to downsize a bit and sell my other vehicle to possibly get financed for a hellcat I'm definitely a mopar fan. Any questions please feel free but i have no idea how to put everything into words of how much has been maintained on this vehicle. "

Hope he gets his full asking price, but that car is not in "immaculate" condition at all. LOL. "Lowering links"
Why do so many Neon SRT's have audio systems. Ugh. Mine has some stupid aftermarket rear speakers that look horrible. Need to take those things out and put OEM ones back in there.

I hate those fucking "wolverine slash" stickers that people put on their cars. So tacky.

Yikes. 135k miles, an accident, and he wants over twelve grand for it? That's laughable.

Based on my experience in 2008-9 (looking for one that hasn't been "trashed") your SRT-4 should be approaching "priceless" in 2019. :D

^^^^

$185 a year for registration fees.

I won't complain about my $39.50....

I pay about $100/year for two cars and a trailer.

^ That has to be one of the cleanest bone stock representation of a 2gn neon I have seen for a long while.

Not sure if insurance value would cover the purchase price, but there is no way you would repair a rusted neon for that cheap. IMHO, it is a far better deal for the money than a worn out SRT, for that asking price.

It is fairly well equipped for an ES. It is also odd that the recommended 14" tire size is 175 70 14 vs 185 65 14, like my '01 ES is. But IIRC, my '01 doesn't have a recommended 15" tire size. I'll have to look tonight.

There was a Motorsports edition R/T on my local Craigslist for cheap. It was super clean, too. Made me want to buy it. It's gone now.
