I do not have pictures yet, but people can vouch they have seen pictures of this car and they are in my garage. I no longer want to deal with this electrical issue. I am sick of it and I am not about to put a ton of money into trying to pinpoint exactly what it is.
Condition: The car has a regular title but it was in a wreck in 2007 and I have been driving it since. Really nothing wrong except the frame is a little pushed to one side in the back (can't tell.) Doesn't affect driving whatsoever.. The bumper and trunk are shot. I did buy an extra trunk and bumper from a fellow 2gn member that year. They are silver with blue racing stripes. The motor is not sound. It makes noise. It has 120,000 miles on it. Somebody backed into me last year in a parking lot as I was waiting to turn out and he decided he wanted to back up and turnaround.. well it was a truck and you know the story. The car is lowered. Has the r/t wheels that are painted. They are not in the best condition and need some work but they are not bad. The transmission is sound but the clutch is not. Front seats are great.. back seats not so much. All interior pieces are good. Window on passenger side does not go up because the motor is shot.
The electrical issue is seriously a nightmare. This has been giving me problems for two years now and we started replacing things we thought would fix it but it still hasn't. Needless to say, she is temperamental. We think we finally have it figured out to the security system and not recognizing the key fab. This will cost me quite a bit of money and I really don't want to deal with it anymore. I am looking for a older Jeep Grand Cherokee for the winter so I can just move on from this car. Most everybody on this forum knows this car has been giving me problems from day one. Whoever had this car before me screwed with the electrical system horribly. So.. offers open..
Part out.. or Sell whole?

We will end up selling it out right. Car runs and drives fine. What I would recommend is:
Clutch (havent changed it since she has owned it)
Timing belt (120k have not changed it)
Window Motor/Reg pass side (not changing if we are selling)
The noise sounds like low oil tick, it looks to be leaking from the front main seal (easy to do when your in there for the t belt).
I have replaced Crank/Cam Sensor, and the car starts and runs most of the time. After driving or sitting for a while it gets fuel but no spark. The car would be an AWESOME winter car/dd if someone puts a little cash in it. We are thnking right around 800. I could tear this thing down and get this much out of it. I would love to use the interior pieces for my srt interior project but no go. Car does have lowering springs and new tires on the rt wheels.
And car DOES NOT have a salvage title. They bought it back the next day so it did not have to go to a salvage title.

here are pics.
btw, you always forget things. I forgot to say that it has had regular oil changes. Always at around 3,000 miles. I want her to go to a good home where somebody could put more work into her and make her look just as good as new. The only rust on the car is from where it has been hit and the paint peeled. There are other dings and dents but it's typical of a daily driven car. The car is lowered and obviously rides like a lowered car.

I am just looking to see what kind of interest is out there because if there is a chance she could go to a good home, I would rather it happen now than later.
Also.. the starting problem is intermittent. It likes to do it whenever it wants without any rhyme or reason. Like I said before, I have had this problem for years but has seemed to get worse as she's aged. like I said before, I think we've narrowed down the issue it's just that I do not want to continue putting money into it.

If I had something else to drive while I fought with electrical demons, I'd be out there today. But alas, I have nothing else to drive and I can't be driving around the kids in something I don't know will start.

If I had the $ I would buy it, just to see how bad a 3.0 swap really is. Since I have been playing with a 3.0 engine change the last few days, it really has me wondering... Unfortunately I is poor.
