Car was purchased by me new in July 2004 with 1 mile on it. Car was fully loaded (Side Airbag Seats, Sunroof, Kicker System, LSD) 2004 models are arguably the best year for the NSRT and seem to have the least amount of problems compared to the 03’s and 05’s. Car has Power Steering, Power Brakes, ABS, Power Front Windows & Door Locks, Fog Lights, A/C, Power Mirrors, CD/DVD.

Past Issues

TPS Sensor (common issue) was replaced when stock by dealer at 2k miles. I had a frozen right caliper at 40k which was replaced. Had the stock stage 3 fuel pump go shortly after install (most fail) and was replaced with a Walbro 255 pump. Car was broken into in 2005? at my job. Driver Door was repainted, window replaced (Old Bridge Collision). They stole my wallet. Key Sweep will show that the car is throwing NO CODES. Car has a ding over the passenger rear wheel well, and passenger front rim lip has a bit of curb rash. Painting lip will fix it. Lastly, since the CF fenders have no antenna, I do not get reception for the radio (ipod connection). I have never had any use for a radio, but they have antenna kits out there (strips?).


Oil Change with Mopar fuel filter and Full Synthetic every 3 month / 3k miles. Plugs changed once a year (plugs always looked fine; gapped to .032) Car always received 93 or 94 octane gas. All other fluids are checked routinely. Tires have plenty of life and car is always clean as it comes with a car cover. Car has a new battery as of this spring. During winter months, car is started up weekly and driven around the block to keep things fresh.


Car was a daily driver until 2008. 80% of the miles are highway miles driving back and forth 45 minutes each way to college. Had roughly 55k miles then and since have put less than 10k miles on her. Car is not being driven in the winter or in rain. When car is not being used it is stored in a car cover to reduce dirt, rain, snow, and sun exposure on the paint/cf. Anyone who knows me knows that I am super anal when it comes to cleanliness, not driving on bad roads, and not letting others drive the car.

History of Parts

Like everyone, my first mods were HIDs, eyelids, a carbon hood, lip, wheels, lowering, BOV, exhaust, and Stage 1. After becoming friends with a few car show addicts, I started molding the car into what you see today. Stage 3 was on the car since 2006 and I am still on a slip free stock clutch. Car has been down the ¼ mile 6 times and never saw slicks. I never WOT / powershifted or auto-crossed the car. Car was babied and everyone that knows me can back me up when I say I rarely go into boost. It’s more of a joy having it than using it. Most performance parts, including the Stage 3, was installed by Jay at N2MB. He is the most knowledgeable guy around and works with the Red Sled.


Since 2006, the car has been a big head-turner. Car has had crowds around it at every meet and gets thumbs up everytime I take her for a spin. I have been in over 100 car shows, from small to big and have won 50+ trophies and awards. The car was in a commercial, been in online calendars, been interviewed for Nopi-tv, and was SRTforums car of the month.


Though I never ran the car with slicks, it should be capable of a low 12 / high 11 at 115+ mph. Never been dyno’d but I would imagine Stage 3 with bolt-ons would yield 360-380 wheel HP.


The SRT is a driver’s car. The car has been lowered 1” on Mopar Stage 1 springs, so the ride quality is very similar to factory. Wheels can turn fully and don’t rub anything. Fenders have never been rolled or hit by tires. Stock struts are fine but do make the common clunking noise in back when going over larger bumps. Brakes are smooth. You will however feel the road more because of the 19’s and low profile tires. At speeds over 70 the wheel shakes a little, but it’s something a wheel balance should fix. In the winter, if need be, the car handles okay in the snow (tires would be the determining factor). The exhaust not annoying at cruising speeds like some full 3” catless setups are. Heat and A/C blow fine. Car shifts through the gears no problem with no grinding whatsoever. Goes into reverse without a hitch. For those who are not familiar with Mopar Stage 3, it was available through Dodge and was like a factory turbo upgrade. It is very reliable and gives you usable power down low unlike most other aftermarket turbo kits.

Stock Parts

Car Comes with most stock parts (fenders, turbo, trunk w/ wing, exhaust, etc.). Items I know I do not have are: OEM hood, OEM wheels, OEM sideskirts, OEM lights. I literally have a garage full of parts that you will get. Spare tire/jack is in garage also.


If the car is a daily driver, I would recommend changing the hood. Though there are people that run this hood in all elements, rain/snow will get through the hood. Also, hood does not have windshield wiper nozzles. Wires are tucked away and zip tied safely in the engine bay. I simply avoid driving the car on bad days and leave the car covered. Also, you have a decision to make with the Lambo doors. The passenger side is installed (bolt on w/ little mod). Factory hinges are included, so you can if you want to, remove the lambo hinge or install the other one on the driver’s side; your choice.


The car is located in Old Bridge NJ. If you are interested, you can schedule a visit to check it out. I am a bit nervous when it comes to others driving the car, but I can take you for a ride no problem. Serious inquiries only. I am looking for $14,000. That’s not a lot considering I have invested over 18k into the car. We can discuss payment and pickup after we agree on a price. I suggest picking it up as it will come with a ton of parts.


I have seen a lot of SRT-4’s and can honestly say this is like no other. The engine mods have been installed by one of the best and most respected installers and the paint is like glass. Again, this car was not beaten! Clutch is perfect and motor/trans is strong. Comes with BOTH sets of keys/alarm and orig owner’s manual. I may also have the window sticker. This is the first time I have ever listed the car. I will list on various car forums and craigslist this week. Within the next two weeks I will put it on autotrader and then if the car does not sell I will consider eBay.

Haha, SRT-6 convertible may be the next ride. I was thinking of using 3/4 of the money I get for this as a down payment for one and use the payments to help build credit for a future house purchase. Since 07, I have graduated college, got a real job, and haven't spend any money besides a few trips here and there. Money is piling up in the bank, I just need to build credit.

I will keep my PT Turbo as my daily beater. In the event I actually do get the xfire, I do not plan on modifying it. The only foreseeable mod I would want is lowering springs. I just want a simple, luxurious, rare, sports car.

Anyways, thanks all for the compliments. I think once it sells I will miss it. The worst is if someone local buys it and I have to see it at meets and on the roads haha

Well, after a ton of interest, and a few close calls, it finally sold.

Thanks to all that were interested in either parts or the car itself.

Unfortunately, since I do not own it anymore, I really will not be visiting the site anymore; but I might add that it was fun to be a part of the 2gn/SRTforums site and all its various activities. I am happy for the knowledge these places gave me along with some of the other rides that have been inspirational along the way.

To be honest, next spring I may be in the market to for another SRT, but either the SRT6 or an SRT8 300. But, in the meantime, Ill stick to my daily drive (pt cruiser gt turbo).

As for the buyer, the car is now in North Jersey and I suspect he will join the 2gn/SRTforums communities for guidance and whatnot.
