2001 R/T with Full SRT-4 Swap
2001 R/T with Full SRT-4 Swap
Name: Adam Kopernacki

VIN: 1B3AS46F91D179328
Asking: $8,000 obo.
Mileage on Chasse: About 71,000
Mileage on Engine: About 12,500
The car started its life as a Stone White 2001 R/T. I ordered it and picked it up December 21’st, 2000. It was my Christmas gift to myself.
In June 2005 with 68,378 miles on the chasse I started the transformation to a SRT-4 clone. At the same time the car was stripped and painted House of Kolor Kandy Blue over Orion Silver. I sourced an Engine and Transmission out of a 2004 SRT-4 with just under 10,000 miles on it. I really don’t remember the exact mileage but I remember it was in the high 9k range. Since the swap I have driven only about 2,500 miles. Most of the time it has sat in my garage.
I have some things to finish before I sell. The harness on the passenger side door has 1 wire that has been crushed and needs to be fixed. I can close and open the window on the passenger side switch but only can close on the drivers side switch.
The shifter plate on top of the trans needs a little RTV because it leaks a little after I removed it to inspect.
Other then that the car is mechanically perfect. No check engine lights and just passed NY inspection this month. Body has a few scratches here and there but not one dent door ding or anything.
I’m sure I missed a lot and will update as I remember. I’m asking what I’m asking. I am negotiable. But please don’t go offering me $4000 because I will just ignore you. I don’t need to sell it. I rather sell it to someone who can appreciate it. I put a lot of time and money doing it right. If I can not get close to what I’m asking I could start removing parts and selling them to lower the price. But for now they stay. Plus I have a lot of parts I may include with the car. Like extra SRT-4 Rotors and Calipers. Interior Parts, etc. I’m including some photos of the swap to show what has been done to the car.

I have seen this car in person and i can honestly say it is gorgeous. The interior is custom without being gaudy "show car custom" and the exterior is beautiful. I was so busy admiring the paint I didn't notice any scratches or dings. This car is an eye catcher without being gaudy and can probably keep up with some of the bigger muscle cars, no doubt surprising a few too. anyone with the cash would be crazy not to buy this car, it is nearly brand new.
... I wonder if adam would let me buy it on a payment plan...lol

Thank You everyone.
I still have the car. The would be local buyer ended up walking into a Ford dealership and trading in his old Mustang for a new Mustang V6. He said he saw that the V6 Mustang is faster then the SRT4.
But not before he made me strip down the car to buy down the price. Leaving the car undrivable. I still have most of the parts to put back but with a new born at home no time to work on it. So for now it will sit in the driveway and will not be sold.

You should have only stripped it down if he left a decent deposit

What is the current state of the car? I know you said undriveable, but I'm curious how much undriveable. I would love to fly out, spend a day helping you put it back together, and drive it home. The main problem is that I will have to get a loan from my credit union, and they will give me $5500 max. So I have to sell something to come up with cash for the rest. I don't know how long it would take me to sell my 4Runner. Maybe a week, maybe a month.
