1989 Plymouth Reliant - $600/OBO

Selling my 89 Plymouth Reliant. It's been a reliable beater but I'm moving onto something else. It has it's fair share of dents and dings but not a lot of rust. The paint is a cheap job from 1992 or so, and it's starting to flake off. Just recently started stalling randomly. I'm assuming it's the fuel pump or the fuel pump sock since it usually restarts when it sits for a little bit or if you prime the pump a few times at a light. It also has a misfire that starts after you drive it for around 40 minutes, from what I understand it could be a valve guide. It also has bucket seats, not a bench seat. It has a 2.5L motor, and an automatic transmission. I recently put on a new external fuel filter, distributor, cap, rotor and pick up coil. Runs fairly strong when it does run.

Asking $800/OBO, will not sell for scrap price, have title in hand. I can help with delivery. Will do my car plus cash for a neon.

I think that's a little backwards lol. The K-car rides great, has soft seats, and the interior is a little more "up class" than my NYG was.

But it's gone tonight, Blair is picking it up.

I owned a 1981 Plymouth Reliant, which wasn't as good as the 1980 Plymouth Champ that I bought to replace it.

I'll admit the early reliant a probably sucked as far as having carbs or those terrible 2.6 Mitsubishi motors but I really enjoyed my 89. If I had owned it since new I'm sure I'd have loved it.

Car is officially gone, thread can be locked.
