Wow, even less modded than David's car.
Up for sale is my 1 owner gem mint 2005 dodge neon srt4. The title and carfax are clean with no issues at all The car has 2k original miles and still have the original wheels and tires with a mere 600 miles. The wheels were taken off the car and stored in a climate controlled room to prevent the tire from rotting. This srt4 is a stage 1 from factory and is in OEM condition. There is no rust or issues at all with this vehicle. The car will stay in this condition due to it being a showroom vehicle. Please message me with any further questions or inquiries.

Such a bummer that the front plate holder was screwed into that bumper.

True. Probably the only positive thing that resulted from my accident years ago is the fact that the body shop put a new front clip on that didn't have a plate holder like the OEM one had.

Condition: Used
Ended: Jan 17, 2019, 11:50:17 AM PST
Price: US $20,000.00
You would have to want it pretty bad. Insuring it for that value, is going to be a money pit every year just in that alone. And probably even more $ if you want to drive it without restrictions.

The percentage of people that make the coin to buy it, insure it, and keep it preserved in a nice climate controlled garage, is pretty slim that would "invest" in a neon.

Keeping the price high is probably it's only saving grace, if the seller has any hope of it to be kept in nice shape after it is no longer theirs, if that is a concern to them.

I think that the asking price was fair, considering the state of the vehicle.

Oh it was plenty fair, I never said it wasn't. BUT the only way you'll get it insured for that amount, is to go with a specialty insurance company; because your average insurance isn't going to pay $20,000 out in the event of a loss, for any neon. It wouldn't take alot for them to total it either, given the age, and average market value. To them, it IS just a neon.

Pretty much the same reason you're not using joe schmo insurance on yours with far more miles.

Only a die hard neon person would pay that much, and go to the expense of keeping it from deteriorating. But you also need to be a die hard neon person with that kind of disposable income. So hence, there it still sits, for the time being...

I guess that I should have explained that I would have paid that much for it if I didn't already have my beast.
