For the owners and creator, whats the tune up used for yours kits, how much hp, psi, a/f ratio, mods in the top end, bottom end?, intercoolers, did u have to configurate the ms in a dynamometer?

Out of the box it's good for 8psi. It's a base tune, and does require allowing the software to calibrate the tune to your motor. It works on a stock motor and includes everything you need, including the intercooler. No, it's not configured on a dyno. The timing advance expected was researched on a dyno prior to the development of the kit.

acr's kit is his business, so I don't release the details of his purchases to the public unless he specifically requests me to do so.

The verdict so far is yes on the ATX. I haven't tested it personally, but as long as you leave the stock ECU in control of it, you should be fine.

I've got my hands full on kits right now, as well as tuning time. I really need to make sure everything is caught up before promising anyone anything else. Make sure you contact me with ample time to spare if you plan to order a kit or any other product that requires fabrication.

Erick, is there the possibility of the ECU going into limp mode, and causing the car to shift weird?

That was my original concern, but the 40TE ECUs seem to just change to a 2 or 4k redline on the motor, leaving the trans control alone. Dodge engineers assume that since it's not going to rev past 4k, there is no reason to change the shifting. Since MS becomes in control, the rev limit is gone, and the trans control program is unchanged, making things all kinds of run as long as your powerband is in the right range.

- Eric NP i'll give you time to make the kit and i wont be able to use the spare money until 45-90 days out from now so i've got time

- Jerry i pm'd Casperamc about the tranny limp mode 6-7 months ago, for those that don't know casperamc was running a 40TE w/ ms and rigged so it didn't have engine codes. he sent me this in a pm
CASPERAMC wrote:Transmissions dontgo into "limp" mode, only the engine does. you should be fine whether you hook upspare ignition coil and injectors or not.
p.s. he just rigged it w/o engine codes just for shits and giggles, and because i think he said that it just bugged him to have the CEL on.

Ok back on Topic a little bit. LOL

I just want to say that The services that ASP provide are awesome, and I want to thank Erick very much for coming out and tuning my set up for me, (for those who didn't know, my setup is a 2.0 Dohc Turbo running on MS..) I couldn't be more happier with the way things went and his helpfulness, now if we could only figure out why the only way to start the car is by jumping the starter relay, but that's another story... lol. I will be buying more things from ASP in the future, and once I get the PT clutch I will be in even more business. So thanks again man I really appreciate it.

LOL Ive already been pm'ing him nonstop all morning LOL very interesting info I have been getting...I wanna at least finish the car "show wise" for the most part but may install MS w/ all the bolt ons I have and do a 3.55 5 speed swap. It may wake up the car a ton and keep me happy till I decide on what I wanna do...didn't realize the potential of the 2.0L. Cant wait.
