AMSOIL from Nate!!

Post by nate-00neon » Mon Apr 26, 2010 10:39 pm

hey guys,

i am an amsoil dealer and i thought i would see if anyone on here would be interested in buying oil from me.

There are many great products that they have, but i will just list some of the more common things. The price show will also have shipping and tax added. Now the more you buy the more you save in shipping and the price of the oil. So if we can get some people in the same area to get a bigger order together everyone will save. My prices are a little flexable so the more you buy the less i will charge. Also, if you get something bigger than a qt like a gallon or a 2.5 gallon jug you also save.

Prices:
100% synthetic oil

0W-30 $10.10/qt
0W-20 $9.00/qt
5W-30 $8.75/qt
10W-30 $8.70/qt

XL Synthetic Oil
(simmilar to Mobil One, but better)
5W-20 $6.80/qt
5W-30 $6.80/qt
10W-30 $6.80/qt
10W-40 $6.90/qt

There are also many different racing oils they offer you can find them on the website.

The filter for Neon srt-4 is the EA 034
which i recomend for anyone who wants to use the 100% synthetic oil for up to 15,000 miles. PRICE $15

otherwise if you are using XL i would recommend the WIX filter
WIX 51516 $7.50

Transmission fluid:
Synthetic Universal Transmission Fluid $9.60/qt
Manual Synchromesh Transmission Fluid 5W-30 $10.25/qt
manual Transmission & Transaxle Gear Lube 75W-90 $12.00/qt

Now if you are going to be buying a lot of oil because you drive a lot or are very hard on your engine i would recommend you sign up as either a preffered customer or a dealer, either way you get the oil at dealer pricing. To be a dealer it cost $30 a year but if you sell just a couple cases of oil you can make that back in no time. To be a preffered customer it cost $20 a year and you just get the oil much cheeper.

If anyone has any questions about any products just let me know and i will do my best to answer your question and if i do not know i will find out for you!!

Lastly if you dont see something up here let me know and i will put it on here so everyone can see it.

Thanks for looking!!!

I am curious how the XL synthetic is cheaper than Mobil 1.

How about a price for 2 qts of FGR and 2 qts of AGL.

FGR 75W-90 gear lube $10.25/qt
AGL Synthetic 80W-90 Gear Lube $9.00/qt

And XL is a both a blend or full synthetic, it is not 100% synthetic.
just b/c its called "full" doesnt mean its 100%

That makes no sense.

The XL line is a group 3 synthetic oil.

type 3? what doesnt? i was just saying that "full" like mobil one does not mean 100% synthetic so technically they are kinda synthetic blend...

i was just trying to say that full does not mean fully synthetic like you would think.

A group 3 synthetic oil is a fully synthetic oil. Mobil 1, Pennzoil Platnum, Quaker State Q, AMSOIL, Redline, Royal Purple are all full synthetic oils.

I'm too damn lazy to post up the price comparison, and I'm not being too much of a dick (IMHO) but... why should we buy from you for so little off the list price? I can buy oil straight from amsoil for 40 cents roughly more than I can buy from you, and, no offense, but they've got a good reputation, and I feel very confident they wouldn't screw me over on oil.

Not to say you would, but that's not a lot of inspiration to buy from you, man. I don't know what your cost on these are, but you may want to reconsider your pricing...

to the best of my as far as i know the bes oil out there is a group 5. There are 3 companies that make oil in that group that i know of, Redline, Royal Purple, and AMSOIL. ik that AMSOIL makes group 3 oils, but idk about the other two.

but group 3 oils are fully synthetic, but not 100%, because by law they dont have to be. am i correct on that?

well the reason i posted those prices is because idk what i would cost to ship to u guys all over, when i sell here locally i mark up $1 from what i pay, then the shipping and tax u usually end up close if not over the retail price, this way i dont loose money by saying the price is this shipped with tax and everything...because the price really depends on how much you order. but i do not have much room in the price between what i get it for and what retail price is.

I think you are splitting hairs.

There are a lot of people that split the same hairs.

If it has synthetic oil on the label then it's full synthetic. If it has synthetic blend on the label, then it's not full synthetic.

ok i hope this helps...

a group 2 oil is usually considered synthetic blend like valvoline extended mile.

a group 3 oil is full synthetic or fully sythetic like XL, Mobil One...

a group 5 oil has no petroleum in it at all (unlike group 3 oils). Oils in this group include Most AMSOIL products (100% sythetic oil), Redline, and Royal Purple.

Is AMSOIL like the new AMWAY or something? Seems like everyone and their brother is a 'dealer' nowadays. Free bump, I'll stick with my Mobil 1.

have you given Amsoil a try? there are a lot of ppl who say they will stick with mobil 1 and once they try say trans fluid or something they then say they wont use anything else.
No pressure or anything, but if you dont try it you wont know if you like it or not. you know what i mean? i just find after using other oils personally there is nothing that is as good so far that i have found.
