Light strip went out. Not too worried about it. Anyways... Would you be able to make me a light strip for my killerglass radiator hose. I can't find anything that will resist the engine temps. No 3M tape either. I am going to use zip ties to hold it to the hose. I will take a measurement if you need one.

Damn Mike, I have to get pics of the LED mods you did for me still. I'm such a slacker
I wanted to show someone how the lights looked the other day, but the battery is so dead no LEDs will light up. You know you have no juice if you can't even light up a LED

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

I do but I don't have any at the moment...let me know what color you want... I have a nice setup in my car after going through a FEW different sets... but one led requires a modification to keep the redline on the tach side bright and red....sidepipe87 wrote:Do you sell cluster bulbs?
Let me know if interested... Im also working on a custom HVAC setup.. I finally perfected mine...
LOL true....Danteneon wrote:Damn Mike, I have to get pics of the LED mods you did for me still. I'm such a slacker

That's fine, I'm not in a huge rush. I have blue now but they are so dim and most of them now flicker or just don't light up. I was wanting to switch to cool white or whatever it is that makes the cluster a bright blue instead of dark blue. I'm interested in hvac bulbs as well.Caraudioholic24 wrote:I do but I don't have any at the moment...let me know what color you want... LOL yea not sure if you saw my interior lit up at Carlisle....but I was making sure I got it perfect before I said anything... wont be a total plug and play setup..BUT will be the most uniform and brightest setup you can do...
Not sure if you saw my setup at Carlisle... But I was making sure everything was perfect before I mentioned it also..so far I love it.. That one led mod is a pain but makes a total difference..sidepipe87 wrote:That's fine, I'm not in a huge rush. I have blue now but they are so dim and most of them now flicker or just don't light up. Heres a teaser pic... Not the best shots I could get but gives you an idea of the brightness and uniformity... FYI an SRT bezel will be even brighter....
Gauge Cluster (dont mind the euro insert..it has been sold)
HVAC panel This pictures sux... also I have the Clear HVAC inserts from wiggy....If you do Blue they will not be needed.
I took this with a cell phone....(fail)...the whitish color is actually blue. You can see the brightness though... pull the bezel off and prepare to be blinded lol

Its something I have to do.. it requires a needle point soldering gun... I change the top monted smd led to a red one so it blends in the rpm redline much nicer... Looks really good on the srt cluster do to the fact it has more of a illuminated area for the red line.. Ill send you info on what leds to get if you want... theres not enough demand for me to stock up on hundreds of them LOLsidepipe87 wrote:Oh that looks exactly like what i'm looking for. Hey mike. Do you have anything to recommend or....sell for switching the cluster LEDs to Red? I really don't want to pull it apart and sand it because I iz scared id break it I see you sell the clear Hvac inserts and when the time comes I may look into that and one of your HVAC light solutions but in red, and then I will need new switches for the doors and rear defrost. Its all a couple of months down the road but thought I would ask first. Also props to mike and his awesome products which I used in the last build I highly recommend him to anyone considering his lighting products
