NET Customs
Good Day all. Thought i would start a new thread since i finally picked a name for myself. Most of this will be copied from my original thread with some new things added. I will be working on becoming a supporting vendor so when i do I will post up and please check me out. Here we go with the good stuff.
First off let me introduce myself. My name is Nathan. I've been around here for a few years. My first neon was a 2000 brand new off the lot. Some people will remember the car. I was away from neons for a few years, but found my way back a couple years ago with the purchase of my current neon, 2002 Srt swapped car I purchased off this forum.
I love to make my own stuff when possible and this car gives me plenty of opportunity to do that. I also understand how it is to be a budget minded car enthusiast. That has also lead me to help others out however I can. At the beginning of this year a change at my job allowed me to learn how to weld. I quickly progressed into welding aluminum. I became confident enough I started making basic items for my car. Well that peaked fellow neon owners interest and I was asked to make parts. So that's what lead me to decide to become a vendor here and see what others are interested in.
Here are some items I have made thus far. The items with prices are what i consider standard product and make without any variations except for maybe an occasional redesign which will be posted. Any questions please please get a hold of me, especially if you see something you like or if you have an idea of something you would like to see.
Coil pack heat shields- these are made of 1/8" aluminum. 3"x10" dimensions. Pic below shows one for the SRT valve cover. One for the SOHC valve cover will look identical except have a knotch at the lower left corner to clear the nipple coming out of the back of the valve cover. $25 shipped
Srt heatshield
SOHC VC heatshield
Oil catch cans- The internal of the cans are a three chamber design. Inlet chamber, collection chamber, exit chamber. They have stainless steel filter media in the inlet and outlet chambers for maximum filtration. They have a drain plug on the bottom for easy draining. They have 3/8" hose fittings. They are designed to mount on the driverside radiator support bracket or passenger side upper motor mount bracket if using aftermarket mounts. Dimensions are 4" tall, 2.25" outer diameter, 2" inside diameter Base price is $60 shipped.
Steering column mounted gauge pod- designed to mount on your steering column cover. The pics don't show it, but where I have it mounted I can see my tach needle throughout the rpm range. The base has four mounting holes or one could use mounting tape. $30 shipped.
here are some pics of other items I have made for people. I am always willing to make any of these items again if someone is interested.
coolant overflows
Fuel surge tank
I am currently working on a couple other coolant overflow designs. One was requested by sxxxt and z3roneo to be mounted in the rubber boot on the passenger side inner fender where some vehicles factory ac receiver/dryer would go. Here is the finished product.
Pic of the inside
Another one I am doing for my personal vehicle will go between the crashbar and radiator, next to the center support. It will be 3" diameter and 9" tall. hold 1 liter of coolant.

Made this latest design coolant overflow for a member on her, mac95. He wanted one with a filler cap and the mount at the top. I love how this came out.

Bump for an awesome dude to do business with. Ordered a oil catch can and could not be happier with the way it came out. The amount of time and detail he put into his products is on par with the big boys charging three to four time his asking prices. Will definately be doing business again soon

Thanks man, glad you like the catch can. Let me know if ya need anything else.
On to a prototype can I just made. Three chamber design just like my round cans are. The fittings on this one however will not be used again if I make another. They are custom made fittings I did just as a idea. To much time involved in making just them it would raise price to much. If I make another for someone fittings will be out the front instead. Here is a pic of it.

The overflow that goes in the rubber boot doesn't give enough room for a cap unless its shortened .5-1". That design in its original form holds a little over a pint of coolant, so if you don't mind less than that it can be done. The aluminum is not a common size so it does cost more. The filler cap option is an extra $22. So to make one would be $80 shipped. If you get someone else that wants one price drops a bunch down to $65 shipped. Sorry it costs so much, but its all due to material cost.
