03 up tails in 02 down

Just a thought, Ive been known to fabricate alot of things. body wise im not so sure. so here is my idea. the 03 up tail lamp is shorter than 02, correct? could it or is it possible to fabricate a filler panel? just an idea because i sure do like the black led's for the 03 up.
like i said just an idea

why not just get an 03 bumper

03 rear bumpers are like $350, I don't think he wants to spend the cash.
Plus the 03 up non srt-4 rear bumpers don't look too good IMO because of those bulges that are on each side of the liscense plate. The tail lights look better though.

He wants to just try to fabricate it and make them fit. I think the 03 up tail lights are indeed smaller. Good Luck.

it would be kinda difficutl being that you wouldn't have an attachment point for a filler panel. the bumper is made of abs plastic so it would be kinda hard to try to 'add' to the bumper.

There's no reason why it WOULDN'T work.....just depends on how much time and effort you want to put into making it look right.

I went the opposite way when I did my SRT rear......wanted to keep my 00-02 Exports....so I heat molded/cut the SRT rear to make them fit....
