Down to the last two!

Post by Mr Josh Zombie » Wed Sep 13, 2006 11:50 am

OK, so my last poll went damn well near perfect!

I'm still deciding between the SRT-4 and BC2. Obviously, my front bumper is coming off regardless... either over winter while it's stored, or come next spring.

We all know the both variations look damn good, so lets go with pros and cons.

SRT-4
Pros: Stronger than BC2
Better fitment
Sits higher
Allows more air for intercooler (Don't worry... I'm going turbo
shortly  )
If I can find yellow, no need to get it painted!

Cons: Posing off the SRT-4
Looks like several other cars out there
Kind of hard to find in good condition

BC2:
Pros: Aftermarket FTW
Looks more original
More aggressive

Cons: Will need it painted
Will need body shop to put it on
Hard to find cheap where I wont get raped on shipping
Sits lower

I'll run this poll until I find what I need basically.

Oh yea... and is there two different versions of the BC2, or am I crazy?

hey hey hey

there's NOTHING wrong with having an srt front bumper on an sxt.....look at me :)

ide say its a good choice either way, srt or bc2, just dont get that flared shit, that's just riced out to the max! the neon has shooth lines, round curves, dont destroy that with some stupid bumper that sticks out like pinochio's (sp?) nose

I don't like the BC2 due to the way it lifts up in the front. I like a front end nice and even. That is why I hate the Blitz kit, it lifts up at the tips. Same with the stock older mustangs. I hate them enough to make me puke. just my .02

I voted BC2...favorite 03+ kit hands down.

That 'flared' one has the optional front lip added on. I saw this kit in person on a silver neon in charleston, sc this summer and I loved the front lip. I just hate the little adjuster bars that give the allusion of helping hold it up. Ive thought about getting that same lip,but setting it back a bit more so it doenst stick out so far. Kind of similar to brads (refect)

No, actually it WAS the glare I was looking at... it looked liked it has a nose. Now that's pointed out to me, i can see it's just glare.

I like the lip to. If I DO buy the BC2, then I'll be getting the lip... if not, the SRT-4 is getting a lip.

SRT-4 FTW!!!!

I'll be going to Michigan next week to buy a bumper. I've already talked to the seller and everything.

It'll just be a matter of getting it painted to match.

I'm just curious as to how well they will flow with the SRT front. I don't think they are going to look too great, but that is just my opinion.

Do the front bumper mod, where they bring it out to match the wheel width. Do it.

Oh... and my vote is no to the BC2.
