i am wondering how to make some eyelids for my 04 dodge neon sxt i got some tinting film and was think about making eye lids but i dont know if it will last or is this a bad idea....

It'll probably end up looking like hell after a couple months... You can find the shorties on eBay. I've also made some for mine using matte black vinyl decal material...

If you're willing to spend a little extra cash, you can buy color-matched fiberglass eyelids for about $120.

Or go look in the for sale forum, someone is selling carbon fiber eyelids for I think $55 shipped.

i would recommend just buying a set then painting them. i've attempted to make a set of eyelids for my old neon. you won't regret buying a nice set. i'll be putting on my cf eyelids after i paint them along with everything else in early-mid march.

if you want black eyelids, or have a black car, do like i did and just buy some black vinyl on ebay. its something called rVinyl and its a real big sheet you can make like 10 sets of eyelids from. you dont have to layer them either cuz the black is dark enoughf or light not to go through. its better than blowing 20$ on one pair of pre-made eyelids that you will most likely fuck up putting on if its your first time.
