aight so i know some people like, and some people hate the somewhat new 00-02 projector lamps

there are, from what i found, 2 different versions of the headlights, both available in chrome and black

my idea is, to take one of the 2 versions, and hack the turn signal off of it, so its technically an 03+ headlight (minus turn signal) so it will fit my bodykit

i was trying to figure out if you think the 3 LEDs, if converted to amber bulbs, would be bright enough to use as turn signals

or i was also thinking, convert the 3 LEDs to amber turn signals, and place another LED turn signal into the front grill of my body kit

so do you think it would
1 - work if i hacked the turn signal off
2 - look good on my car
3 - be somewhat functional
4 - if the above 3 are good to go, which version of the ebay projector to use...

help me out guys, thought it would be cool, and i think i may have to replace my headlamps anyway, so i figure, do something different

I kind of like the idea... but you might want to check on one thing that I'm not sure off. If you have the turn signal off, you might need to mod your bumper a bit to make the headlight fit flush. Not sure.

and the 03+ headlights actually have a thin plastic peice where the truns signal would be on a 00-02... wierd

the headlight shapes are different, so you would definetly have to mod your bumper to fit them.

well then forget that idea... sucks that are only 2 options for the 03+ headlight: stock chrome, and black housing.

once again, hacknslash no longer makes projector headlights for neons.

contact srt4store, they're taking over doing retros. i dont know when they're getting around to doing it though.

last i heard over on SRTforums, was that he was finishing up a few of them, selling the SRT, and being done.... might wanna ask him?
