Clear Coat on top of Duplicolor Chrome Paint??

Alright, from a test, it seems that its not possible to clear coat the Duplicolor Chrome paint...

WHY?

&

Is any other way of protecting the chrome paint?

First, I must know what you are "chroming", so I know if I must laugh or not, then, I will point out that Alsa Corporation sells the only REAL chrome spray.

Go to the killer cans section, for what it does, it is a phenominal price. If you are into chrome, think about the possibilities, valve cover, intake, intake manifold, your ENTIRE interior, your ENTIRE exterior........it's a great price.

I am just painting my HVAC bezel. I just want dress up the interior a bit more, playing off the chrome door handles.

Spray the top of your dash too. Then try driving on a sunny day. I'd stay clear of too much chrome on the interior (or exterior for that matter).

Haha, they did that paint job on pimp my ride. Its pretty cool how it goes on though, but still ugly.

That is one hot car, I love it. saved it to my fodlers for future desktop.
