R/Ts and ACRs came with the cutouts. But it looks fine without. I ran my magnum muffler without cutouts in my stock bumper. Then I got an export R/T rear bumper so its a moot point now, as it came with cutouts of course. But itll look fine either way.

I say cut the holes. It will look really nice. While your at it, just cut out the whole middle, kind of like a rolled bumper.

I looked into doing the cut out on my SXT bumper to bring my Borla up closer and soon found out that I had about a half inch of rear exterior bumper below the huge metal piece that acutally functions as the bumper.

I don't know how much space you have for the SE or 00-02 models, but that was a quick answer as to whether or not I could even do it.

cut it!

make it look like the r/t numper.. it's alot cleaner and stock looking that just letting it hang there and maybe even touching the bumper..

you can pick up shorter hangers at basically and car place..

Pep-Boys.. and such..

here is mine with shorter hangers... umm.. kinda.. mines BRR customized Flowmaster muffler with srt tips that i got for basically dirt cheap compared to a brand new one.

Thanks BRR

^^^ how much bumper did you have available to cut? I don't remember being able to cut that much off. Cause damn that looks good and is inexpensive.

i'm not sure if this is true or not, i could be tottaly wrong, but on the SXT bumpers if you look up behind the back of the bumper there should be like a little ring or something kinda marking were the cutouts should be..

thats the r/t bumper.. it's made perfectly from factory... But that is the only diffrence bettwen that bumper and a regular sxt, SE one.

I'll take a look tomorrow...When I looked under the first time I wasn't looking for cutouts, I was looking for the amount of space I could cut.... ThX

You're right, there are cutouts. I had mine cut when I put on my exhaust.
