Striping paint on tails

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

Just as the topic says i want to strip the clear and the tint on my old OEM tails...Just want to know if its possible without damaging the tail and color that it was originally? thanks!

yes if you are careful you can put the stripper (i would reccomend trying WD-40 first, if that doesn't work then an odorless mineral spirits) ... on a rag and start wiping it off ... you likly will end up with a dull finish ... get a plastic polish (from 3M) and polish them back up to a shine afterwards...

don't use to harsh of a chemical or you may have to do some sanding to restore the finish.

I would just use paint thiner ...

also the same maker as nightshades makes stuff to take it off.
