side split or not

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

That's like me saying "I was thinking about getting a haircut, what do you guys think?" Without pictues it kinda hard to say!

Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of the car. Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you're going when you hit the wall, and torque is how far you drag the wall with you.

They're little things that go on the side of the front bumper to aid in "aerodynamics."

IMO go ahead and do it but only if you have some pretty nice exterior mods. On a more stock car they would look out of place.

you mean canards or actual side splitters (i.e. the ones that attach the the lower side of the car)?

:withstupid: The side splitters run along your skirts, usually as an addition with a front bumper diffuser. Canards are attached to the sides of the front bumper. If you're kitted I'd say maybe, depends what you look like, if not use the money for something else.

well, aerodynamically it is beneficial. if you're doing any time attack where you're reaching speeds where aerodynamics are a factor and downforce is important (probably on a highly built N/A or turbo set-up to even get to those speeds on a track) then they'd be great. other than that, its a non-functional show mod.
