Buffing out tails

Ok I tinted my tails all red. Usually I just let it be & dont mess with it from there, but I want a nice shine this time. Anyway I tinted em, let em dry & wetsanded them smooth. I threw down a few coats of clear & dont know what to do from there. I read to buff em out but how do I do that. thanks.

You need to wetsand the clear, and get yourself a good finishing polish, you can get 3M Perfect-it2 over the counter at many parts houses, like Autozone. And polish them with that, they should come out perfectly glassy.

Thanks man. I still need to buff em up a wee bit more but overall I couldnt be happier. Time to get rid of those damn leaky aftermarket tails. lol

Thanks I wanted to put something in the back window that kinda "broke up " the limo tint without looking to ricey. So I went with the girls.

I used house of kolor Kandy apple red spray can that I got from walmart. Its in the modeling section.

If your walmart carries Testors instead, then use Testors transparent candy apple red. Ive used that before to but it is a bit darker red IMO.
