i tried using a hair dryer but it's not working, i've read somewhere about putting tail lights in the oven to take them apart but i can't find the thread. Can i put my side markers in the oven? if so what temp and how long should i leave them in there?

i'm not sure about the stock ones but i'm trying to take apart my clear side markers, it looks like they were either glued or melted to keep the lens on...

for the headlights, if i remember right, u had to heat the oven to 400-450 degrees, turn it off, put in the light for ten minutes and it should pry apart. i'll try to find the thread for u

luckily i tried this with my stock sidemarker first because i melted it. Now it's doing the wave lol... and it still didn't want to come apart.

I took my clear side markers apart years ago to use niteshades on the chrome backing. All I did was use an x-acto knife and run the blade along the seam between the lens and the backing. It took awhile, but they came apart.
