looks pretty interesting. i'd rock it. but it'd have to have some sort of a liner for the inside for rain and shit. plus even stainless rusts when subjected to salt and snow, so probably wouldn't be worth it to me.

Very cool hood... practical.... not really, unless you live somewhere it doesn't rain much.

Now that's pretty cool...not just literally either!
I'd have to paint it to match the car though I think, espescially on a black car. That'd take care of the rust issue too.
I wouldn't use it on a daily driver either.
How would it affect the aerodynamics since air just passes right through it and is not really directed anywhere? wouldn't that cause some sort of disruption in the airstream over the car?
And for $750 I think I'd just get a good ventilated CF hood for about $100 less.

that is sweet!!!!
If its done with Stainless steel, as long as its treated it shouldn't rust... Look at the Delorian (Back to the future) was done in all stainless and it doesn't rust.. All you would have to monitor is in the engine bay.
thats my .02

Lift/downfocre would be reduced; induced drag would be reduced too. More noticeable, parasitic drag would increase (that's really bad for a car).

yeah i seen it in person and it looks like something that blongs on a porch screen door. I dont know if i would rock it , maybe if it was color matched to the car.

Hmmm - I hope it looks not on pics better than in reality.
I'm afraid that it looks like this cheap grill mesh.

that looks super hot painted. a clear plexi shell underneath it, and i would buy one in a heartbeat. but then i'd actually have to dress up the engine bay.
