Post by 01NeonSnooZer » Tue Oct 02, 2007 12:14 pm

How much would one pay for a set of SRT-4 rims in good condition?

I prefer these. I'm not too big into chrome.

I paid $240 for my SRT rims w/ 2 good oem and 2 roasted oem tires locally, a couple small scuffs on them that rubbed off.

i'd buy those chrome if they were somehow lighter than stick. look sick.

Yeah, Ebay is the place to go. I got lucky locally, a tire shop had a set they had pulled of of an SRT-4 who upgraded his wheels. I got them cheap with a new set of tires in my choosing of size.

But usually try Ebay.

Wow. I know some of you don't like chrome, and I know I went semigloss black with mine, but these DO look pretty slick:

Too bad this *ssh0le wants $800 bux + $90 shipping

Fcuk dat, there aren't even tires on them. Chroming wheels is cheap if you have a decent shop that isn't high-profile. You could get some silver wheels and dip them for half the price total.

The shop selling these is where I used to live actually. Well those guys are a rip-off.

Ditto. i think it'd be pretty interesting to have srt rims on one side and silverstones on the other lol. like 2 completely different cars.

yes... a 16" rim and a 17" I wouldn't do that. + I already have the MotorSport rims which are silverstones

I should buy my friends stock SRT wheels and get them chromed.

as long as the total height of wheel and tire are the same, rim size wouldn't matter except for weight and sidewall flex during turns. it'd be more a show than go thing lol. ride out on the srt's, put 2 silverstones on once parked.

Yeah I was thinking they'd look tits on black cars incidentally. Hence why I didn't consider doing it for mine.

But the shop selling them is in Fontana, CA, a predominantly poor hispanic area, so I figure he thinks someone with a 5-lug slammed minitruck will want them. I'm SOOO not a minitruck guy (my truck is lifted) but I could see how the chromed SRT wheel styling on some 35 series would be in the tastes of hispanic minitruck owners in my area.

Oh and for the record I'm half hispanic so no offense to any latinos here.
